Most hair care on the shelf—even products marketed for children—contains phenoxyethanol, a synthetic and harmful preservative. While widely used, phenoxyethanol has raised concerns due to its potential to irritate sensitive skin, disrupt nervous systems, and its unsuitability for frequent, long-term use—especially on developing scalps and textured hair that requires regular moisture and care.

Our products are preserved with certified organic ingredients rated green by the Environmental Working Group (EWG).

Fro.ology was created so families never have to compromise. Our formulas are curated with clean, thoughtfully chosen ingredients that are gentle enough for little curls, yet moisture-rich and effective enough for textured hair of all ages. 

Meet the Founder

Fro.ology was created by me - a neurodivergent mom who went natural after leaving spaces where my hair was never truly accepted. I couldn't find clean, effective products that worked for my hair and felt safe for my children, so I began creating my own.
